Winners of student floral competitions at Singapore Garden Festival announced

Results of the 14th Floral Harmony @ Nanyang, which is held in conjunction with Singapore Garden Festival 2016, were released today, with 10 Gold awards presented to budding floral designers who participated in the Intra-School Floral Art Competition and inter-school International Youth Floral Art Competition.

This follows live competitions that took place on Thursday (28 July), where 198 participants – from as young as six years old right up to 21 years old – created 138 table-top or standing floor floral arrangements within the short span of one hour.

The intra-school and inter-school components attracted 92 and 46 entries respectively. Floral displays were judged based on impact, originality, balance, scale and proportion, finishing and usage of given materials.

All competing displays are currently on display at Bayfront Plaza, Gardens by the Bay, until 31 July (Sunday), as part of Singapore Garden Festival 2016.
