Programmes for Schools

Inculcate a love for nature and animals in your students. Students can grow their very own plant with the Every Child a Seed programme, measure the level of biodiversity in your school with Greening Schools for Biodiversity, learn about the importance of animal welfare through hands-on activity in our Responsible Pet Ownership programme, plant trees as part of the global Green Wave movement, or volunteer with our programmes.

If you would like to set up a School Garden within your school compound, our Community in Bloom division can provide advice and guidance. We also conduct Assembly Talks on the topics of nature, biodiversity, conservation or community and companion animals. Exhibition panels on various topics such as our City in Nature, Biodiversity in Singapore and Companion and Community Animals are also available for loan to schools.

In the week leading up to the International Day of Biodiversity (22 May), NParks has planned a series of exciting events for schools in Biodiversity Week for Schools. Schools are invited to register with us to participate in these activities!
