  • Burkill Hall to be returned to its original identity as an Anglo-Malayan style house

    Burkill Hall, one of the historic buildings in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, will be repainted and returned to its original identity as an Anglo-Malayan Plantation Style House. Global paints and coatings company, AkzoNobel will refresh the look for Burkill Hall and the Bandstand, through the Garden City Fund, the National Parks Board’s (NParks) registered charity.

They will get to sing along with local singers belting out theme songs from MediaCorp Channel 8 hit dramas such as “Moonlight in the City” (城里的月光), “Gentle Night” (温柔的夜), “Voices from the Heart” (小人物的心声), as well as evergreen favourites of artistes such as Anita Mui, Feng Fei Fei, Fei Yu Qing and Teresa Teng.
