Description: We are pleased to have with us Mr Fraser Cook, who will share insights of three key plant areas in Indonesia, home to unique species endemism valued in the plant trade. His research covers issues in plant hunting, reseller techniques, and the impact of value chain dynamics on sustainability. This session will outline the methods of assessing plant populations in trade and in the forest, the challenges within the supply chain that increase overharvesting, and the potential solutions.
