Join local orchestra Hear You Later for an enchanting evening of music at the Arts@SBG: NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens. The orchestra will perform classic tunes like 花好月圆 (Blissful Harmony) and 夜来香 (Evening Jasmine), as well as Chinese New Year favourites including 新年歌儿大家唱 (New Year Song) and 青春舞曲 (Song of Youth).
Remember to pack your picnic baskets, invite your loved ones, and usher in the auspicious Year of the Dragon in the heart of the Singapore Botanic Gardens at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage with Hear You Later.
This concert is part of the Arts@SBG: NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens series. Singapore Botanic Gardens is part of the Arts & Culture Nodes Network, an initiative by the National Arts Council.
About Hear You Later
Founded in 2020, Hear You Later is a community of freelance musicians, teachers, and pro-hobbyists passionate about music-making. The orchestra presented its first concert in digital format supported by the National Arts Council through the Presentation and Participation Grant in 2020. The orchestra has since presented several digital projects and received a favourable response from local and international audiences. Hear You Later is conducted by Tong Wei Jie, a dedicated and accomplished musician, conductor, and educator with a passion for nurturing musical talent and fostering arts engagement. Wei Jie is currently the conductor of Pioneer Chinese Orchestra and Sectional Instructor for The Purple Symphony.
