This workshop is recommended for kids aged 9 - 12 years old.
Participants will take apart a flower to examine, identify and record its many wonderful parts. They will be given templates of these shapes to create a design that repeats and overlaps. Finally, they will colour these patterns in rainbow colors to create beautiful artwork of their own. This workshop is conducted by the Botanical Art Society (Singapore).
About the instructor
Sunanda Widel is a botanical artist and founder member of BASS. She was an Educational Instructor at an international school. She has exhibited in botanical art shows in the US and UK and won awards for several paintings.
