Description | Head distinct from slender body, eyes large, snout rounded. Tail is about one-third the length of the body. Scales along the middle of the back distinctly enlarged. Bronze on dorsal surface, yellowish or greenish on ventral surface, and a whitish stripe along each side of the body. Its black eye stripe which starts from the snout continues through the side of the body, above the whitish stripe. When it inflates the scales of its neck and front of the body, blue skin beneath the scales are revealed. |
