Description
| Description | Head distinct from slender body, eyes large. Bronze-brown above, with blue skin between the scales on the neck. A broad black stripe runs from the front of the eye to the neck. Ventral surface yellowish green. Often confused with Dendrelaphis formosus (Elegant Bronzeback), but distinguished from D. formosus by the absence of three black stripes along the rear of the body, and differences in the lateral black stripe, which extends from the snout to some way down the side of the body in D. formosus. The eye of D. cyanochloris is also smaller than that of D. formosus. |
