Changi Animal & Plant Quarantine Station (CAPQ)

All animals and birds entering or leaving Singapore via Changi International Airport must undergo inspection at the Changi Animal & Plant Quarantine Station, or CAPQ. CAPQ is located within Changi Airfreight Centre, and is accessible via public bus services and taxi. Information on the procedure for clearing your pets upon their arrival in Singapore is available here.

Obtain a Customs In-Payment (GST) permit. Please refer to Singapore Customs website on Importing Personal Pets for more details.

Make an appointment for inspection of your pet by submitting a request via our Intelligent Food Approval & Safety Tracking System (iFAST). Submit your request at least five days before your pet’s arrival.

Bringing your pet for inspection without making a prior appointment will subject you to an S$80 fee. Here are some frequently asked questions about our online inspection appointment booking system.
