General information

All animals entering Singapore are required to undergo inspection by our officers.

In addition, some dogs and cats may also have to undergo a period of quarantine upon arrival in Singapore. The need for quarantine depends on the country the animal comes from.

Types of quarantine and inspection facilities

We operate one quarantine facility – the Animal Quarantine Centre. You can book a quarantine space there via our quarantine management system.

We also have offices at the following border control checkpoints:

• Changi Animal & Plant Quarantine Station (CAPQ)
• Tuas Checkpoint
