Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An epiphyte, it has a sympodial growth form. 
Flowers The flowers are held on axillary racemes. The flowers consist of pink sepals and petals, fading to white towards the base. The flower lip is pink at the apex, turning white towards the lip base. 
Cultivation It is best grown under light to partial shade in freely draining growing medium, such as charcoal. Feed once a week with half strength fertilizer (prepare the fertilizer according to the label and dilute by half) after first watering thoroughly with plain water. It grows best when kept slightly rootbound, needing good air circulation and high humidity (>50%).  
Etymology It is a hybrid originating from a cross between Dendrobium Walter Oumae and Dendrobium Lois Anderson.
