Description and Ethnobotany
Growth Form | A sympodial epiphyte, it has a clumping growth form. |

Foliage | The leaves grow alternately on pesudobulbs. The leaves are leathery and oblong to lanceolate in shape. |
Stems | The pseudobulbs are grooved, many-angled and widen out towards the top, growing up to 30cm in length. |
Flowers | The flowers are borne on pendulous, axillary racemes. The flower sepals and petals are yellow. The flower lip is yellow with a frimbriate margin and the inner part of the lip is orange. The flowers measure about 5cm wide and are fragrant. |
Cultivation | It is best grown under light shade (70% light), in a perforated pot in freely-draining growing media such as charcoal. |
