Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Agave cultivar forming a rosette up to 0.7 m wide.
Foliage Smooth, wide leaves are lanceolate with entire leaf margin and long, pointed tips. They are greyish green with a silver border and does not have any spines.
Flowers Cream-coloured flowers are arranged in a tall inflorescence that forms an arch-like shape up to 1.5 m tall. Plants bloom once after about 10 years and then die.
Similar This cultivar is similar to Agave attenuata 'AGAVWS' (US Patent No. 21,854) which is also known as Agave attenuata 'Ray of Light' in the horticultural trade. Cultivar 'AGAVWS' has a white border, while 'Silver Trim' has a silver border.
Cultivation When planting this cultivar in the ground, it is best to position it above soil level by creating a small mound. Feed every 6-8 months with a slow-release fertilizer.
