Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A monotypical orchid. It has a climbing growth form.  
Flowers The flowers have pink sepals and petals with ruffled edges and dark pink spots at the base of the dorsal sepal and petals. The lip is dark pink.  
Etymology A hybrid of Vanda Josephine Van Bero and Vanda Somsri Pink. It was named after Mr Tan Hoon Siang, the son of Tan Chay Yan and was registered in 2004.
