Description and Ethnobotany

| Flowers | The flowers are about 4cm in width and have spathulate petals and sepals which are slightly twisted and are yellow and heavily blotched with red. The flower lip is pink to pale purple with small basal side lobes. The mid-lobe is oblong with an entire margin and is slightly curved downwards. |
| Cultivation | It is ideally grown under partial shade and in very free-draining, well aerated growing media, mounted on fern bark slabs or hung on open, slatted wooden baskets. |
