Flowers | The flowers are borne at the nodes after the shedding of leaves and are 4.2 to 4.8cm long. The petals and sepals are pale yellow on the inner surface, the outer surface is tinted purple. The flower lip is long with a clawed margin and is light yellow with brownish lines towards the base, widening around the lip base. |
Habitat | It is found in lowland hill forests at altitudes of 200 to 300m. |
Cultivation | It may be grown in very free draining and well aerated growing media such as charcoal or mounted on tree bark, fern bark or cork slabs. |
