Calling all photography enthusiasts! You can now participate in a new national photography competition on the themes surrounding our City in a Garden. In celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday, the year-long ‘Singapore Garden Photographer of the Year’ photo competition aims to showcase our natural heritage through the lens of the community. Submit photographs of what you think best represents the four themes: “Singapore Botanic Gardens – Celebrating Our Heritage”; “Trees, Forests and Parks”; “People and Nature”; and “Our BiodiverCITY”. The photo competition features an open category and Instagram category. Participants are encouraged to take part in all four themes and submit them in both categories. There are attractive cash and camera prizes worth about $50,000 to be won! The overall best winner will walk away with a Nikon D610 kit, camera lens, and $3,000 cash.
