Caring for the community through nature
As a nature lover, I have gone on many guided walks at our parks before. On 25 March, I went on yet another one – the 'Roots, Shoots and Fruits' guided walk at Sengkang Riverside Park. However, that day's experience was different. This was because I helped organise this guided walk for a group of intellectually disabled students from Lee Kong Chian Gardens (MINDS) school (LGS). This was my first time organising a community service event at our parks, and I must admit I was slightly nervous.
