Earth Day, which falls on 22 April every year, is an occasion when we are reminded to appreciate the environment. On the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, Pasir Ris Park celebrated by showing a little kindness to its mangroves – as well as to some special friends of NParks.

Regular visitors to Pasir Ris Park are familiar with the sight of belly-dancers gathered near the Gallop Stable every Friday morning. Bedecked in colourful, tinkling coin belts and armed with their sexy moves, these confident, active ladies liven up the park with their unique and exotic exercise routine.

Regulars to MacRitchie Reservoir Park will be familiar with the Amenities Centre which opened last July. Outdoor sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike welcomed the new shower facilities, drinking fountains and rest areas, situated amid lush greenery and water features. Another popular addition to the Amenities Centre is Mushroom Cafe.
