MEDIA FACTSHEET – Official opening of Tampines Boulevard Park

The 10.06-hectare Tampines Boulevard Park, comprising east and west sections separated by Tampines Avenue 12, was officially opened on 22 February 2025. Located across the popular Sun Plaza Park, and abutting Tampines Eco Green, the new Tampines Boulevard Park enhances recreational options for residents and enhances connectivity between green spaces in the region.

The 4.78-hectare west section of the Tampines Boulevard Park has a nature playgarden, children’s cycling track and fitness corner, and was opened to public in September 2024. The 5.28-hectare east section is the latest addition to the park and features gentle undulations with hilly slopes and knolls as well as new amenities such as a dog run, fitness corner and a nature playgarden. Residents can also look forward to more landscape enhancements with colourful shrubs and tall grass in the east section, which will be progressively completed in 2026.

Public consultation on new park

In planning for Tampines Boulevard Park, residents were engaged to gather feedback on amenities they would like to have in the park.

An online survey was conducted from March to April 2020 and garnered over 600 responses from Tampines residents. With the inputs from the survey, amenities such as a nature playgarden and an activity lawn were incorporated in the west section.

After the opening of the west section, feedback was received from several dog owners requesting for a new dog run in the area. In October 2024, residents were consulted on potential locations within the park for the dog run. Following the consultation, the dog run was built in the new east section, which will also cater to residents along Sungei Tampines who frequently use the Tampines Park Connector to walk their dogs.
