Description and Ethnobotany

Foliage Olive green leaf has reddish purple marbled variegation on the upper surface.
Flowers Fragrant, night-blooming flower is mostly white with yellow pollen in the centre. The sepals (the petal-like, protective structures that enclose the petals before the flower opens) are pink and some of the petals have pink edges.
Associated Fauna It is pollinated by bees and beetles.
Taxonomy Although referred in the trade as Celon Pink, it was first collected in India and may be an undescribed species according to Ken Landon (International Waterlily Preservation Repository).
