Growth Form Short, compact, rosette forming herb to 20cm tall
Foliage Leaves to 20cm long by 5cm wide, broad lanceolate, mid green; upper surface of leaf densely pubescent; leaf margins crenulate - undulate. 
Flowers Inflorescence to 12cm tall, flowers tubular with flaring corolla to 4.4cm wide; corolla tube and upper lobes of flower lavender blue, lower lobes pale yellow, with dark purple markings on the throat and between the upper and lower lobes.
