Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form  Short, compact, rosette forming herb to 20cm tall
Foliage Leaves to 20cm long by 5cm wide, broad lanceolate, mid green; upper surface of leaf densely pubescent; leaf margins crenulate - undulate. 
Flowers Inflorescence to 10- 12cm tall, flowers to 4cm wide; corolla tube and upper lobes of flower very pale lavender blue, throat and base of lower lobes very pale dull yellow, with dark purple markings on the veins of the throat area.
