Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form 'Mallet' type cane begonia forming a low-medium growing bush
Foliage Leaves asymmetric, to 6(-8)cm long by 3(-4)cm wide. Upper surface of leaves dull deep bluish green - olive green  with a dull burgundy border, leaf blade with stiff, short hairs. Under surface of leaves dull red - burgundy; leaf margins undulate. Stipules pale brownish red, to 1.5cm in length.
