Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A compact, bushy shrub from Floribunda class, growing to about 40- 50 cm tall with a spread of 30 - 40 cm.
Foliage Glossy dark green leaves. Compound leaves, each leaflet is ovate-shaped with toothed margin.
Flowers Flowers are showy, mauve in colour, about 5 - 8 cm in diameter, cup-shaped with more than 40 petals in each flower, and highly fragrant.
Taxonomy This cultivar is hybridized by Hans Jurgen Evers in 1999.
Cultivation Repot plant every 2 to 3 years. Plant requires good drainage.
Etymology The genus Rosa is the latin name for rose.
