Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Annual herb to 60cm tall
Foliage Leaves to 5 (-7)cm long by 5(-9)cm wide, wine red, with bright yellow - pale lime green markings on veins at the proximal 1/3 of the leaf (facing the stem). Leaf margins crenate, with a bright yellowish green border.
Flowers Inflorescence to  20cm long, flowers blue-pale lavender.
