Foliage Leaves to 5(-67)cm long by  6(-7)cm wide,  base color of leaf blades reddish brown or occasionally with dark maroon spots, bright green along veins. Leaf margins lacerate, with a narrow yellow border (0.1-0.2cm). Some specimens may have leaves that are primarily bright green, and suffused with reddish brown.
