Description

Description Slender build with long tail. Males have green upperparts, underparts and crown, with bluish wash on back. Sides of head and nape reddish. Females have duller reddish on sides of head.

Ecological Notes Travels in parties of 20 birds or more, attracting attention with its high-pitched screech. Has distinctive blunt head and a long pointed tail.
