Distribution | Breeds in West Asia, Central Asia, South Siberia, South Mongolia and West China; The East Asian-Australasian population winters in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia, while other populations winters in South Africa, Middle East and South Asia. Common winter visitor and passage migrant in Singapore but uncommon at Sungei Buloh where it often associates with the flocks of Mongolian Plover. Most frequently present between Oct to Mar. |
