Grant Call for PCSS
Pet Cat Sterilisation Support (PCSS) Programme Grant
AVS will be implementing the Pet Cat Sterilisation Support (PCSS) Programme on 1 September 2024.
The PCSS programme is a new initiative by AVS to provide assistance for the sterilisation and microchipping of pet cats in low-income households. This proactive measure aims to prevent accidental breeding of pet cats within households and address downstream animal welfare and other issues resulting from overpopulation. By improving the health and welfare of pet cats, this initiative also benefits the community.
Through the PCSS Programme Grant, AVS aims to foster partnerships with Animal Welfare Groups (AWGs) to encourage responsible pet ownership and mitigate issues related to cat overpopulation.
Eligibility
All AVS’ Animal Welfare Group Partners are eligible to apply for this Grant.
