Whether you are a student, professional, retiree or on a study/career break, we welcome you. Volunteers are important to us, and we value the time and contributions of every one on our volunteer programme.
This partnership with our greenery enthusiasts has allowed us to accomplish much more than we could. Join us and make a difference in our nature areas and green spaces!

If engaging the community is what you enjoy, why not volunteer as a OneMillionTrees movement volunteer facilitator?
As a volunteer facilitator, you will share with tree-planting participants the importance of planting trees, our City in Nature vision, and how the OneMillionTrees movement contributes to restoring nature back into our city, while ensuring a safe environment for participants to plant a tree.
All volunteer facilitators are required to undergo a round of training before becoming official volunteer facilitators. You may sign up as an NParks volunteer and keep a look out for our training sessions!
Play an active role in supporting and promoting Singapore’s natural heritage by maintaining and enhancing habitats for our flora and fauna.
Work closely with our horticulturists and support them in managing the landscapes in parks and gardens. Take this opportunity to learn more about different plants and their characteristics in our green spaces.
- Nature & Heritage Education
Be a guide in our parks and gardens, and share your knowledge on history, heritage, as well as flora and fauna with visitors.

The Nature Kakis Network is a new touchpoint centred at the heart of local communities that will make City in Nature-related initiatives more accessible for members of the public to participate in. This initiative will provide more opportunities for the wider community to become stewards of nature by bringing together passionate like-minded individuals to share and exchange ideas with others in the wider community on how to conserve and steward our natural heritage.
As part of this initiative, we will partner you, and help train you and your champions (other community leaders) to set up Nature Kakis chapters (small groups) in each constituency to organise various greenery and City in Nature-related activities such as tree-planting and guided walks for the community.
