About the venues for rental

If you are looking for an open space or an indoor venue to organise your outdoor event or activity, you can consider one of the following venues for booking within HortPark.

Note:

Booking sessions are on a 4-hourly or per-day basis. Different booking rates apply for each venue.
Each booking must be made for a minimum of 4 hours (including event catering/logistics set-up and tear down) in accordance with the following time-blocks:

8am – 12pm; 1pm – 5pm; 6pm – 10pm

The Applicant is required to pay the hourly add-on rates if additional hours out of the standard 4-hour time block(s) are required. For full-day bookings, the Applicant may use the venue from 8am to 10pm.

All bookings must be made 2 months prior to the event date.
Peak periods are from Friday to Sunday. Off-peak periods are from Tuesday to Thursday.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have chosen a venue which suits your event’s capacity, safety and space requirements. You may wish to conduct a site recce to determine the suitability of the venue spaces.
All bookings for event spaces at HortPark are managed by Event Butler. Contact them today to make an appointment for a site recce.

Surrounded by majestic trees, the Event Lawn is ideal for large outdoor events and celebrations of up to 500 guests in round-table seating and a standing capacity for 900 guests.

Note

Planking is required for any set-up on the lawn and requires a marquee for shelter.
