Highlights

With things slowing down at the end of the year, ’tis the season for merry making. In our City in Nature, there are plenty of opportunities to unwind.

Nature playgardens in nearby parks let children make fun discoveries and develop their mind and body through playing in nature. At home, you can explore Singapore’s wild side virtually through our videos and stories – did you know a few species of chestnut and deer can be found here?

Our island is a treasure trove of biodiversity (one aspect of our natural capital), and protecting and enhancing this requires all of us to work closely to grow our City in Nature together. By planting more trees, conserving our native species, and creating more green spaces as part of the Singapore Green Plan 2030, we can look forward to seeing more wildlife amongst us.

In the meantime, find out more about Singapore’s natural heritage and how you can play a part in conservation efforts through our NParks Buzz microsite, NParksSG YouTube channel and/or our TikTok channel! For more ideas of family fun, check out our list of cool activities to do at home.
