Foliage | Round, floating leaves up to 20 cm wide are light to dark green with brown flecks. They are connected to the leaf stalk in the middle of the leaf blade ('peltate') and have a single deep notch in the blade. |
Flowers | Blue to deep purple, fragrant flowers (15 cm wide) are held about 20 cm above the water, opening in the morning and closing at dusk over the course of 3 to 4 days. The cultivar is free-flowering, regularly producing an abundance of blooms. |
Fruit | This hybrid cultivar does not produce seeds. |
Cultivation | It grows best in still water with a depth of 20-60 cm and should be protected from the wind and hot temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius. Apply an aquatic fertiliser every 2-3 weeks. |
