Nymphaea atrans is a tropical, day blooming water lily species native to N. Queensland (Australia). Its fragrant flowers are initially white, then turning to pink and finally becoming deep purple over the span of several days.

Flowers Flowers change colour from white to pink to purple over several days. They are held slightly above the water (~20 cm).
