Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A prostrate to spreading epiphyte, growing up to 7.5 cm tall and spreading to 17.7 cm.
Roots Thin, non-fleshy, slightly fibrous, grey-yellow. Aerial roots are yellow-green.
Foliage Leaves are orbicular shaped, 8 cm long and 0.85 cm wide, strongly convexed inward, oppositely arranged along the stem.
Stems No main stem present, lateral stems grow directly from the base near the roots. Stem is green, smooth and slightly glossy. Produces milky white sap when injured.
Flowers Flowering has not been observed in this variety.
Taxonomy A natural occuring new cultivar of Dischidia nummularia discovered by Thumrong Suphachadiwong from Thailand, patented in 2015.
Cultivation Plant can be propagated via stem cutting, plant under well-drained media and place under filtered sunlight. Plant requires little watering.
