Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Epiphytic fern with stems growing 80-10cm, slender, pendulous. Fertile branches usually forked.
Foliage Leaves narrowly lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, 0.6-1.6cm by 2.2cm, light green to light brown when mature, papery texture with an entire margin.
Reproductive Parts - non-flowering plant Strobilus 3-6.2cm by 0.1-0.2cm, terminal on branchlets, forked at least twice.
