Ethnobotanical Uses | Edible Plant Parts : Edible Leaves Food (Fruit or Vegetable): Young leaves can be used like spinach, but they contain oxalic acid which can irritate the throat. Blanching the leaves and discarding the cooking water will help to remove the oxalic acid. |
