Description and Ethnobotany

Foliage Dark brown, deeply wrinkled leaves are oval to ovate with a toothed leaf margin. The net-like venation is bright, metallic pink.
Stems It is stoloniferous, forming plantlets at the stem tips. In the wild, one plant can form an extensive mat.
Flowers Tubular flowers are orange-red with golden throat. 
Cultivation It grows best in moist, but well-draining soil, such as potting mix designed for African violets.
