Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An epiphytic, sympodial orchid. It has an upright growth habit. 
Stems The stems are upright and cane-like. 
Flowers The flowers are borne on multiple upright shoots in clusters. The flowers have red sepals and petals, the flower lip is red with a speckled yellow center. The flower lip margin has a frilly edge.  
Others - Plant Morphology It is the hybrid of Epidendrum Orange Glow and Epidendrum cinnabarinum.
Cultivation It is best grown under full sun and grown in freely-draining growing medium. The roots should be kept moist, do not let the plant sit in water. The plant should ideally, be staked to prevent it from being blown over by strong winds.
