Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A herbaceous, perennial groundcover. It has a upright to procumbent growth habit. 
Foliage The leaves are simple and are alternately arranged along the stem. The leaf margins are variegated with dark pink and yellow, in contrast to the green leaf blade. The leaves emit a pungent smell when crushed.  
Cultivation It is ideally grown under full sun or partial shade. It is best grown in moist and well-drained soil but also tolerates wet conditions.
