Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Rhizomatous herb to 1.6m tall 
Foliage Leafy shoot to 1.2-1.5m tall, leaflets 20-30cm long, mid green. 
Flowers Calyx white, sheathing, enclosing the flower bud in early stages of development, and covering to half the length of the corolla tube when in full bloom.  Corolla lobes white, lip white with faint purplish pink markings. 
Etymology Named after the  F.W. Foxworthy, who first collected this species from Palawan.
