Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A herbaceous, aquatic emergent with a clumping growth form. It can grow up to a height of 10 to 50cm. 
Foliage The leaves are narrow, cylindrical and coil upwards. The young leaves are light green, turning dark green as it matures. 
Cultivation It is best grown under full to partial sun. It is suitable for planting in containers but must be watered regularly, the growing media should not be allowed to dry out between waterings. 
Ethnobotanical Uses Cut - Dried Flower: The stems are sometimes cut for floral arrangements.
