Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A herbaceous creeper. 
Foliage The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs along the stem and are almost circular in shape, the leaf base is slightly cordate in shape. 
Stems The stems are slender, roots occur where the leaf nodes come in contact with the growing media. 
Flowers The bisexual flowers are yellow. 
Cultivation It is best grown under full sun, in moist soil rich in organic matter.
