Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Variegated trailing root climber with a compact form
Foliage Leaves cordate. Base color dark glossy green, with large splashes/ blotches of cream- white variegation.
Similar Resembles the parent clone Epipremnum 'Marble Queen' (an Epipremnum aureum cultivar) in having leaves with cream/ white variegation. Differs from the above clone in the leaf shape, variegation (large blotches of color instead of streaks) and in having a more compact form.
Taxonomy Note: While registering the patent of this plant, the classification given by the registrants was listed as "Epipremnum pinnatum 'NJoy'". However, the patent also stated that the plants were progeny of the clone 'Marble Queen'.  Epipremnum 'Marble Queen' is a cultivar of Epipremnum aureum, and not E pinnatum, hence  Epipremnum 'N-Joy' is recognized as a cultivar of E aureum and not E pinnatum  as specified by the patent registrants.
