Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form This plant grows up to 40 m tall with 150 cm in diameter. It has abundant spreading branches. Its outer rugose bark is red-brown while the inner bark orange with brownish resin. 
Crown The crown is dome-shaped.
Foliage It has two types of leaves: the young branchlets are linear and feather-like spreading; 6-12 mm long and 1 mm wide, keeled; while leaves on older branches and fruiting branches are small, scale-like with acute tip and turns yellow when ages.
Reproductive Parts - non-flowering plant Male cone axillary, 1 cm long, 1/4 cm wide; female reproductive organ on a red receptacle, green when young and turning to light brown when matures.
Ethnobotanical Uses Timber & Products: This plant is used in construction, pulpwood, and furniture.
