Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A medium sized tree grows up to 27 m tall.
Foliage Leaves are hairy, elliptic to ovate, alternately arranged. 
Flowers Flowers are small ,borne in clusters, measuring about 7 mm in diameter, whitish-yellow in color. 
Fruit Fruits are drupes, about 12 mm long, turning to yellow or orange when mature. 
Habitat Found along rivers and on hillsides in mixed dipterocarp forests, up to 900 m altitude.
