Description and Ethnobotany

Foliage The leaves are glossy, green and are trifoliate. Leaf is ovate and glaburous with an entire margin. The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs on the stem.
Stems The stems are long and have a twining growth habit.
Flowers The flowers on long, pendulous inflorescences. The flowers, bisexual and creamy white in colour while its bracts are conspicuous and are yellow in colour. The inflorescence is long-lasting and lasts over the course of a few weeks.
