Description

Description Head distinct from slender body with smooth dorsal scales. Brown above with a reddish brown stripe along the middle of the back on the rear part of the body and tail. A broad black stripe along the sides at rear part of body and tail. Underside yellowish or white.

Ecological Notes Diurnal species. Inhabits mature forest and known to be found near water. Feeds on lizards and rats.
