Description | Body pinkish grey with black blotches down the back, tail blackish with pale bands. Pale yellow mottling on head. Skin relatively thin with small scales that do not overlap. Tubercles on body, limbs, and anterior part of tail. Large, dark red eyes without eyelids. Digits lack expanded pads. This species was formerly confused with C. quadrivirgatus. However, through molecular analysis, as well as its unique morphological and colour patters, C. majulah is confirmed to be a new separate species. |

Ecological Notes | Nocturnal, arboreal. Feeds on insects. Found in mature forests and swamp forests. Frequents tree trunks, leaves, and low shrubs. |
